What is a Count Me In Party?
Count Me In Parties are smaller events that are normally donated by parents and friends of Old St. Mary's School. The event or activity is paid for by the donor(s) and the whole purchase price paid by the participant goes toward the OSM Annual Gala.
What types of events are included?
There are a variety of Count Me In Parties offered. In the past some examples have included: Kid's Art Party, Kickball vs. Teachers, Drive-In Movie Night, Wine Tasting, Garden Party, and many more.
I have never been to a Gala or didn't see the display last year. Where can I find it?
The Count Me In Parties are separate from the mobile bidding. They have a designated spot at the Gala, usually near the entrance and labeled with a large poster board "Count Me In Parties".
How do I reserve a spot?
The Count Me In Parties are not part of the mobile bidding. Each event has an individual sign-up sheet. The events are first come first serve. Just list your name and Bid Number you are given when you enter the Gala. You will be charged at check-out.
How much do these Count Me In parties cost?
The prices vary depending on the activity. They are very affordable for families and have started as low at $25 per participant.
What if I have more than one child that might want to participate?
If you have more than one child and would like them both to participate, you are required to reserve a spot for each participant. For example – I would like my son and daughter to participate in the Kid's Art Party for $25 each. The parent would write the family name and Bid Number and indicate as such - two spots totaling $50.
Are there any requirements for the events?
Each Count Me In contains a description of the event that includes the date, time, total number of participants allowed, and any age or grade level minimum requirement. Please know that age/grade requirements are put in place for safety reasons.
I have a great idea for a Count Me In this year and would love to donate my talents. Who can I talk to?
The co-chairs for the Count Me In Parties this year are Nicole Davidson (email@example.com) and Janel Sedevic (firstname.lastname@example.org). They would love to hear your ideas!
I am still confused and have questions that were not answered in the FAQs. Who can I contact?
